It has been a fairly busy month for most of us away from the running. With shift work making it hard for all of us to remain motivated.
We have been completing the miles, but have not been updating this blog enough to keep up to date with everything. I will endeavour to make sure I add the details of every one that was lost in March on the appropriate days.
March is the 2nd highest month for losses with a total of 70 who gave their lives, on Operations. There are a few significant events that happened, that I will highlight on the days. But they include the loss of 6 personnel, in the same IED incident and the loss of 8 personnel in a helicopter crash, followed by the next day with the loss of 6 in another helicopter incident.
It is going to be a tough month, as the frequency and number of losses increases.
